The idea for this outdoor artwork draws from Denevan’s most ambitious installation to date, Self Similar, 2023, the ephemeral artwork that is among the largest works of land art ever made. Sited on Abu Dhabi’s Fahid Island, flanked by the Arabian sea, the work formed a prominent landmark spanning an area of nearly a square kilometer and rose majestically to a height of 27 meters.
